하나님의 방문과 우리의 반응
하나님은 지극히 높이 계시고 우리는 이곳 땅에 발 붙이고 산다.
그래서 하나님은 우리가 가까이 하며 경험하기 힘든 분처럼 여겨진다.
하지만 우리를 너무 사랑하기 때문에 그는 우리의 절친한 친구보다
훨씬 더 자주 우리를 방문하신다.
그런데 일반적으로 하나님은 우리의 마음에 그의 진리를 임플란트 하는 방식으로
우리와 교류하신다.
왜냐하면 우리의 마음만 그의 통치를 받아들이면 우리의 존재 전체가
그의 영역 속에 들어올 수 있기 때문이다.
우리가 할 일은 하나다. 그가 우리의 마음에 임플란트한 진리에 집중하는 것이다.
그 진리는 그것을 주신 하나님을 대변하며 반영한다.
그 진리를 사랑하며 사모할 때 우리는 그 진리로 와 계시는 하나님을 사랑하며 사모하는 것이다.
피조물이 누릴 수 있는 최고의 특권은 창조주 하나님을 사랑하며 그의 명령에 복종하는 것이다.
God's Visit and Our Response
God is exceedingly high above, and we live with our feet planted on this earth.
Therefore, God often seems like someone we can't easily approach or experience. However, because He loves us so much, He visits us far more frequently than our closest friends.
Generally, God interacts with us by implanting His truth into our hearts.
This is because if our hearts accept His reign, our entire being can enter into His domain.
We have one thing to do: focus on the truth He has implanted in our hearts. This truth represents and reflects God who gave it to us. When we love and long for this truth,
we are loving and longing for God who comes to us through this truth.
The greatest privilege a creature can enjoy is to love the Creator God and obey His commands.
